Cursa de la Sagrera
Cursa de la Sagrera
The Cursa de la Sagrera 2026 is the 48th edition of one of Barcelona’s oldest popular races. It is run on Sunday 13 December, with a 10K and a 5K starting on Carrer Hondures, in the Sagrera neighbourhood.
A bit of history
It all started in 1977, when the Sagrera festival committee added a children’s race to the neighbourhood festival. The following year, in 1978, the first Cursa Popular de la Sagrera open to all ages was held. The organisers rank it among the city’s oldest races, second only to the Jean Bouin.
Entry
The 10K costs €16 and the 5K €15, day licence included. Without a yellow chip, the single-use chip costs €2 more. Registration closes on 8 December or when it reaches 1,200 runners. It counts towards the Lliga Championchip and gives €1 per runner to La Marató de 3Cat.
Details checked in October 2026 on the official race website. Dates, prices and places can change, so confirm them there before you register.
