Cursa de Cap d’Any de Sabadell

The Cursa de Cap d’Any Sabadell 2026 sees out the year on Thursday 31 December through the streets of Sabadell. Organised by Werun, it reaches its 15th edition, with a 5K, a 10K and kids’ races.

Separate starts

For the first time the two distances start separately: the 5K at 16:00 and the 10K at 17:30. There are time limits (45 minutes for the 5K and 1 h 20 min for the 10K, with a cut-off at km 4.5 of the 10K at 40 minutes) and up to four start pens based on your time. It uses yellow-chip timing and counts towards the Lliga Championchip.

Entry and party

With your own chip, the 5K costs €19 and the 10K €22. Chip rental adds €2. There is a “Cap d’Any Fest” option that includes the New Year’s Eve party, and €1 from every entry goes to a social organisation in Sabadell.

Details checked in October 2026 on the official race website. Dates, prices and places can change, so confirm them there before you register.
