Cursa del Gall de Sant Cugat

The Cursa del Gall Sant Cugat 2026 is the New Year’s Eve race in Sant Cugat del Vallès: about 5 km through the town’s streets on 31 December. Its 6th edition comes with a slogan that says it all: fill the streets with roosters and hens.

More party than PB

The course is not certified, so this is not the race for your best 5K. Start and finish are at Plaça de la Vila, in front of the town hall. The giants, the devils’ drummers and the big-heads join in, and many people run in fancy dress.

Entry fee

The organisers have not yet published the 2026 prices. In 2025 it cost €15 for non-members of the Club Muntanyenc Sant Cugat (€10 for members), €17 in the last week and €20 on the day.
