Marató de Barcelona

The Marató de Barcelona 2027 (Zurich Marató Barcelona) is run on Sunday 14 March. It is one of Europe’s biggest marathons, on a fast course that takes in much of the city’s best-known scenery.

Entry fee

The basic entry (Race Entry) costs €100 and includes a medal and T-shirt. Packages with extras such as photo packs, engraved medals or refund protection cost quite a bit more. Runners also entered in the Barcelona Half Marathon get a discount.

Prepare it well ahead

A March marathon means starting your plan in November or December. A half in January or February, such as Sant Cugat, Granollers or Barcelona, is a good test. With the race time predictor you can estimate your marathon time from that half, and the race carb calculator helps you plan your gels.

Details checked in October 2026 on the official race website. Dates, prices and places can change, so confirm them there before you register.
