Marató del Montseny

The Marató del Montseny 2026 is a special edition: it turns 15 on Sunday 8 November. First held in 2011, it has earned a reputation as one of the toughest mountain races on the Catalan calendar.

Course and timetable

It covers 36 km through the Montseny’s best-known landscapes, with the Turó de l’Home as the big climb. The start is at 8:00 and the finish is at Plaça de la Vila in the village of Montseny, with a 7-hour time limit. The minimum age is 18.

Entry

Until 2 November entry costs €49. If you do not hold a federation licence, the day insurance costs €7 more. Bibs are collected on Saturday from 18:30 to 20:00 and on Sunday from 6:45 to 7:45.
