SuperHalfs Europa: 6 New Half Marathons in 2027 and the Full 12-Race Calendar
SuperHalfs Europa is the new six-race half marathon series that SuperHalfs will launch in 2027, supported by Generali. It was announced on 6 November and brings together the races in Napoli, Warsaw, Belgrade, Vienna, Riga and Stockholm. The six original races, Valencia among them, are now called SuperHalfs Originals and will keep running as a separate series with their own medal.
What SuperHalfs Europa is
SuperHalfs is a circuit of European half marathons. You sign up for free, get a passport number (the SuperPassport), enter it when you register for each race and, once you finish every race in a series, you receive the SuperMedal at the finish of the last one. Each city organises its own race, so every half has its own entry, price and rules.
Until now there was a single series: Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia. With SuperHalfs Europa there are two independent six-race series, with two passports and two medals. According to the SuperHalfs FAQs, the new series follows the same rules as the original one: you can run the races in any order and there is no time limit to finish it.

The six SuperHalfs Europa races
These are the 2027 dates on the series page:
| Race | City | 2027 date |
|---|---|---|
| Coelmo Napoli City Half Marathon | Napoli (Italy) | Sunday 21 February |
| Warsaw Half Marathon | Warsaw (Poland) | Sunday 14 March |
| Belgrade Half Marathon | Belgrade (Serbia) | Saturday 17 April |
| Wiener Städtische Half Marathon | Vienna (Austria) | Sunday 18 April |
| Rimi Riga Half Marathon | Riga (Latvia) | Sunday 16 May |
| adidas Stockholm Half Marathon | Stockholm (Sweden) | Saturday 21 August |
The Spanish-language release published by Valencia Ciudad del Running lists Warsaw on Sunday 4 April. The SuperHalfs website and the Warsaw Half Marathon itself both say 14 March 2027, so that is the date we use. SuperHalfs also notes that dates are provisional until each race opens registration.
On each race profile, SuperHalfs lists a capacity of 12,000 runners for Napoli and 28,000 for Warsaw. Napoli comes first in the year, and its profile notes that Yeman Crippa set the Italian record there in 2026 with 59:01.

The full 2027 calendar of all 12 halves
If you want to combine both series, this is the whole year. The SuperHalfs Originals dates come from the SuperHalfs FAQs:
| 2027 date | Race | Series |
|---|---|---|
| 21 February | Napoli | Europa |
| 7 March | Lisbon | Originals |
| 14 March | Warsaw | Europa |
| 3 April | Prague | Originals |
| 4 April | Berlin | Originals |
| 17 April | Belgrade | Europa |
| 18 April | Vienna | Europa |
| 16 May | Riga | Europa |
| 21 August | Stockholm | Europa |
| 19 September | Copenhagen | Originals |
| 3 October | Cardiff | Originals |
| 24 October | Valencia | Originals |
There are two double weekends. Prague is on Saturday 3 April and Berlin on Sunday 4 April, and Belgrade and Vienna fall on 17 and 18 April. You can run both, though you will start the second with 21 km in your legs and a trip in between. With no time limit, spreading them over several years makes more sense.

SuperHalfs Europa rules worth knowing
The SuperHalfs FAQs answer several practical questions:
- You use the same account and passport number for both series.
- You can run both series at the same time, without finishing the first one.
- Medals are per series: three races from one and three from the other earn no SuperMedal.
- SuperHalfs Europa races only count from 2027. If you ran Vienna or Riga before, that result does not count.
- If you already entered one of the new races, you can add your passport number from your account on the race website.
Signing up for SuperHalfs is free. You pay each race entry on its own website, the same as if you ran it on its own.
What it means for Valencia
Valencia remains the only Spanish race on the circuit and stays in SuperHalfs Originals, closing the year on 24 October 2027. Nothing changes for it, but the announcement lands as its registration opens. According to the official entry page, the 2027 Valencia Half Marathon will have 25,000 bibs on this timeline (Spanish mainland time):
- Loyalty window for 2026 entrants: 5 November at 11:00 to 9 November at 10:59.
- Ballot registration: 10 November at 11:00 to 16 November at 10:59.
- Draw on 17 November, results sent on 18 November.
- Successful runners have from 18 to 25 November to pay for their bib.
The ballot is free, but you need a card on which the race holds 5 euros for 15 days. Anyone holding a SuperVoucher (a five-race pass SuperHalfs sold in 2023) does not need the ballot. Last month’s race is covered in our report on the Spanish record at the 2026 Valencia Half Marathon.
The SuperHalfs Europa dates also fit a typical racing year well: Napoli in February works as a tune-up half for a spring marathon, and Stockholm in late August sits well clear of the autumn races. If this is your first trip to a race, there are logistics tips in travelling to a race.

How to prepare for a SuperHalfs Europa race
Each race has its own course and weather. Napoli in February and Riga in May ask you to arrive with your winter base done. Stockholm in late August means doing your long runs in the middle of summer. For structure, the half marathon training plan works for any of them, and if it would be your first, start with how to train for your first half marathon. The usual cut-off in these races is around three hours, according to SuperHalfs, although each organiser sets it in its rules.
Sasho Belovski, Managing Director of SuperHalfs, said in the release that the series gives runners “a goal to dream about”. The first season starts in Napoli on 21 February 2027.
