Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 Review: Features, Specs and Verdict
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 is Brooks’s most popular stability shoe, with the GuideRails system that limits excess knee movement without forcing the foot. This version is softer than the previous one and lowers the drop, while keeping excellent durability. Its big drawback is still weight.
This review is based on official Brooks data and on published lab tests and reviews, such as RunRepeat, not on our own testing. The rating on the card, 8.6 out of 10, is an approximate score based on those reviews.
What’s new in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25
The DNA Loft v3 foam now feels softer than in the Adrenaline 24, shock absorption improves and the drop drops to 10 mm, making it a bit more versatile. Traction also improves. The price goes up slightly.

Differences between official and measured figures are normal: brands usually give the weight of a specific size and measure drop differently. If you want to understand what they mean, I explain it in the guide on drop, cushioning and carbon plate.

Midsole and ride
Stability is excellent and subtle: the GuideRails only kick in when the foot rolls inward. The ride is softer than before and still great for heel strikers, although heel energy return is modest.
Upper and fit
The upper is very comfortable and well made, suitable for everyday wear outside of training too.
To get the size right, follow the steps in the guide on running shoe size.
Outsole and durability
Outsole durability is among the best on the market, and traction improves over the previous version.

Who is the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 for?
Runners looking for a comfortable daily trainer with good support, mild or moderate overpronators, those who found the Adrenaline 24 too firm and existing owners who want a safe upgrade.
Who it isn’t for: if you want a light shoe, there are stability rivals that weigh quite a bit less.
