Cheap Running Shoes 2026: 6 Models for About €100 or Less
The cheap running shoes that pay off are usually mid-range models from last season, or colorways on their way out, discounted to around €100. Here are six that BIKILA sells in November 2026, from €79.95, with their official specs and, where available, RunRepeat’s lab measurements. At the end there is a section on Black Friday, which falls on 27 November this year.
What to expect from cheap running shoes
There are two ways to buy cheap running shoes. The first is models that are cheap from the start, such as the Joma Supercross, which costs €87.99 on Joma’s website. The second is €150 to €160 daily trainers that a shop discounts: the Saucony Ride 19 has an official price of €160 and BIKILA sells it from €97.95.
The second route gets you more shoe for the money, because these models have newer foams and published lab tests. In exchange, there are usually fewer colors and sizes left. The cards in this guide read BIKILA’s price live, so you will see whether a model is still discounted or out of stock.

How to choose cheap running shoes
Choosing cheap running shoes means looking at the same things as with any shoe, starting with how you will use it. For easy and long runs you want a well-cushioned shoe such as the Ride 19 or the Supernova Rise 3, and for intervals and short races, a light one like the Kinvara 15. If you are torn between a daily trainer and a racer, see training vs racing shoes.
Heel strikers usually do better with 8 or 10 mm, while the Kinvara, at about 4 mm, suits a midfoot strike. Our guide to drop, cushioning and carbon plates explains it in full.
Size matters more when you buy online. According to RunRepeat, two of the six run slightly small, so check our running shoe size guide before ordering. And if your foot rolls inward and you want a stability shoe, all six here are neutral: see our guide to running shoes for overpronation, which includes the ASICS GT-2000 14 as a cheaper option.

6 cheap running shoes for 2026
Joma Supercross: the cheapest
It is the most affordable of these cheap running shoes and the only one under €80. Joma lists it at 288 grams with a 10 mm drop and a two-layer midsole: Reactive Ball foam below and phylon on top for stability. It recommends it for paces between 4:00 and 5:30 per kilometer on roads. There are no published lab tests, so everything we know comes from Joma’s official page. It works for beginners or as a second pair for easy runs.

It weighs 194 grams in RunRepeat’s lab and is very flexible. It is firm with little cushioning, and RunRepeat limits it to short distances and does not recommend it for heel strikers. For intervals, fast runs and 5K or 10K races it is a good option under €90, and RunRepeat found it a lot of fun. It runs slightly small.

The Supercross’s bigger sibling has a full, taller Reactive Ball midsole and a Stabilis heel piece to limit twisting. Joma lists 300 grams and an 8 mm drop on its website. It is an option for easy and long runs if the Supercross feels short on cushioning. BIKILA also has the women’s Joma Viper.

Of the six, it has the highest RunRepeat score, 8.8. Its PWRRUN+ foam returned 70.7% of energy at the forefoot, against an average of 61.5%, and it absorbs impact well. Saucony lists 255 grams and an 8 mm drop (36/28 mm) on its website, although the lab weighed it at 278 grams, and it is much stiffer than the Ride 18. With an official price of €160, at under €100 it has the best mix of score and price on the list if you want one shoe for almost everything.

adidas lists 272 grams and an 8 mm drop (37/29 mm) on its website, with Dreamstrike+ foam and a Primeweave upper. RunRepeat measured it as soft, more stable than the Rise 2 and with excellent grip, and praises a roomy fit for high-volume feet. The downsides: less energy return than the previous version, more stiffness and heel padding that wears quickly. It runs slightly small.

It is the only one of these cheap running shoes above €100, but down from €150. New Balance lists 273 grams and an 8 mm drop on its website. In RunRepeat’s lab its Fresh Foam X returned 71.6% of energy at the forefoot, well above what that foam used to give, and it had the highest heel shock absorption of the four with lab data, 146. Stability is limited and the foam stiffens in the cold. It comes in four widths.

Cheap running shoes on Black Friday
Black Friday 2026 is on 27 November, and BIKILA already has a Black Friday section. We do not know whether the cheap running shoes in this guide will drop further that day. The brand’s official price is the benchmark: the Ride 19 is already 39% below Saucony’s €160, and the Supernova Rise 3 is 33% below adidas’s €150.
If you find your size at one of these prices, waiting has a risk: with previous-season shoes, the most common sizes sell out first. We will update the prices in this guide before 27 November. One-off deals we find go on our deals page.

Other cheap running shoes
BIKILA has two more models under €90 that do not have a KnowPace review. The Brooks Revel 9 uses DNA Loft v2 foam and an 8 mm drop, according to BIKILA’s description, and is meant for running and everyday wear. The adidas Adistar 4 has a Repetitor midsole, high cushioning and a 6 mm drop, and adidas aims it at long runs.

Cheap running shoes FAQ
Are cheap running shoes worth it?
Cheap running shoes are worth it if they are discounted mid-range models. The Ride 19 and the Supernova Rise 3 score 8.8 and 8.7 on RunRepeat and cost under €100 at BIKILA. What is not worth it is buying a shoe that does not suit how you run just because it is cheap.
What is the best cheap running shoe for beginners?
For a beginner running on roads, one with cushioning and an 8 or 10 mm drop: the Ride 19 if you can reach €100, or the Joma Supercross if you want to spend less. The Kinvara 15 is not a good first shoe because of its low cushioning.
How many kilometers do cheap running shoes last?
It depends more on the model, your weight and how you run than on the price. The signs that it is time to replace them are the same: see when to replace running shoes.
Are previous-season shoes worse?
Not necessarily. The Kinvara 15 is the generation before the 16 and still scores 8.2 on RunRepeat. What changes is the availability of sizes and colors.
